What the plugin is

Dakidarts Numerology Core is a free WordPress plugin that connects a site to Numerology API-powered calculations and exposes them through familiar WordPress authoring surfaces: shortcodes for classic content and Gutenberg blocks for the visual editor. It supports 17+ numerology endpoints, including Life Path, Soul Urge, Karmic Debt and more. It is designed for creators who want interactive readings without building a custom integration from zero.

Step 1 — get an API key

Start by subscribing to the Numerology API on RapidAPI (free plans exist for testing). Once subscribed, copy your unique API key from the RapidAPI dashboard — it is the credential the plugin will use for all requests.

Step 2 — install and connect

Install the plugin from the WordPress Plugin Directory or via manual upload, then open Numerology → Settings to save your API key. The settings page lists available endpoints, each with a toggle to enable or disable it and a copyable shortcode, such as [dakidarts_numerology endpoint="life-path"].

Step 3 — display readings

Drop a shortcode into any post, page or widget for classic flows, or use the dedicated Gutenberg blocks: add a block, search for “Dakidarts Numerology,” choose the endpoint in the block settings and update. Gutenberg blocks load results through AJAX — no full page refresh — while shortcode forms render results dynamically below the form.

Style for the site

Presentation controls allow the embedded experience to inherit or complement the host theme. The goal is to let the numerology interaction feel native to the publisher’s brand rather than like a separate dashboard.

Privacy and security

The plugin stores the API key encrypted (AES-256) before persisting it, and it does not track visitors or collect data automatically — readings happen only when a visitor explicitly submits a form. Keep credentials private and use the plugin settings rather than embedding keys into page markup.

The Core plugin is built to be extendable. Add-on and Pro surfaces are planned to bring horoscope, zodiac and astrology endpoints into the same authoring model, so a publisher can grow from single-number readings to full spiritual toolkits without changing platforms.
